Laboratory/Field Intern

Job Summary
This role incorporates field operations and laboratory analysis. The job holder will conduct field sampling and preservation before handing it over to the laboratory for analysis. Support in executing analytical and physical chemistry testing following the laboratory SOPs.

Responsibilities:
Conduct field sampling and preservation before handing it over to the laboratory
Ensure field processes are in line with standard and regulatory requirements
Identify potential challenges and proactively plan for resolution
Prepare reagents and solutions according to SOPs
Calibrate equipment for accuracy, reliability, and precision
Interpret and document lab test results including calculations and observations
Review peers’ analytical data for accuracy and integrity
