We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Architect
We are looking for an experienced Structural Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing, and overseeing the construction.
You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion.
The goal is to match client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide a solid foundational knowledge of the craft.
Responsible for the overall development and implementation of specific architectural projects.
Coordinate team effort and oversee timely and profitable completion of a project.
Coordinate the work team, draws designs, and propose budgets.
Prepare project documents and specifications.
Translate complex construction documents into accessible and actionable specification sheets to provide vital information regarding the project.
Manage both time schedules and project budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time and within set budgets.
Highly organized and able to determine which contractors are needed and set project milestones and deadlines.
Responsible for identifying material needs and costs and develop cost-reduction strategies to ensure profitability.
Lead production of schematic design, design development, and construction documents
Review documents for quality control evaluations
Oversee construction phases of projects
Actively seek new design and construction methods
Ensure close-out documentation and project archives are completed
Design buildings and providing detailed drawings with computer-aided design software applications.
Interact with relevant construction-related professionals to determine the feasibility of assigned projects.
Be aware of and comply with legislation that impacts on the commencement of projects.
Serve as the pivot for the determination of requirements for the execution of a project
Visit project sites to ensure compliance to design and influence improved performance.
Serve as a member of project management teams set up for specific projects.
Adapting building designs to overcome constraining circumstances that occur in the course of project execution.
Communicate through the use of timely reports issues related to a project that includes but not limited to proposals, risks, obligations, and contracts.
Manage project expectations with relevant project team members.
Ensure optimization of resources in alignment with the budget.
Conduct project reviews to evaluate outcomes of projects against expectations.
A Bachelor’s of Science (B.Sc) degree program in Architecture
A Master’s degree is an added advantage
Professional qualification in project management is needed
Minimum of 3 years cognate experience
Proficient in standard industry software.
High-level proficiency in the use of Auto-CAD and SketchUp 3D or any other design application like Revit, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, V-Ray, Flash.
Extensive 3D illustration skills in Interior designs, Exterior and Interior Architecture Schemes.

An eye for details.
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
