Job Title: Fullstack Javascript Engineer

Overview

LIXYtech is hiring experienced JavaScript fullstack software engineers, familiar with NodeJS, React, and MongoDB.
We are looking for mid level or higher skilled Engineers for placement with a UK based company that is hiring for fully remote engineers in Nigeria. There are currently 2 open positions.
We are looking for a responsible Engineer with experience working remotely and can work independently without too much oversight.

Responsibilities
The developer’s responsibility is to understand the primary customer needs and translate it into a complete product. This task involves the following:

Understanding your client’s business goals
Develop & maintain fast and functional responsive web applications
Perform high quality work that not only meets, but exceeds the need of the client.
Participate in the entire app life-cycle
Troubleshoot apps for bugs
Implement front-end and back-end requirements
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure a high quality product

Required Technical Skills

Have a four – year Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university, or equivalent level of programming experience
Are highly skilled in JavaScript, React, and NodeJS
Are able to pass our engineering skills assessment
Are proficient in HTML & CSS
Have experience developing software using Agile methodologies
Experience working with git
