We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Associate
Location: Nigeria
Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, this role is responsible for building client relationship and generating leads, whilst being trained and coached to transition into the Account Manager role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Generating leads, Prospecting/Cold Calling
Actively engage with new and prospective clients to identify new opportunities
Identify decision makers and consciously build relationship with them
Schedule meetings and manage meeting calendars
Articulate the services and solutions to clients; including tailoring it to client’s needs
Meet set quarterly targets
Grow clientele base; attend events, exhibitions, etc.
Assist to boost sales growth and sales
Conduct market research, share insight and develop business strategies
Work closely with Account Managers
Experience, Education and Skills
Bachelors degree in relevant discipline
1 – 2 years experience in sales/business development from any industry
Understands the art of sales and passionate about the sales profession
Highly personable; outgoing and engaging personality, attractive professional appearance
Strong verbal and written communication.
Good presentation skills for business reports
Ability to organize and conduct purposeful Departmental/ Unit meetings
Ability to develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong administrative skills
Able to use properly MS Word, Excel and Power-point
