We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Content Writer and Analyst for Education Website
We are seeking to hire a well-rounded and experienced Content Writer / Developer to join our Team in a full-time position.
We are looking to hire dedicated educational content writers to create content for our blog on Passnownow.com.
Our Ideal candidates must have experience in writing error-free engaging educational and social content like articles and newsletters relating to different subjects that will be of interest to secondary school students and teenagers.
The Content writer’s responsibilities also include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms. You should also be able to follow the content calendar when creating content.
You should have knowledge of the latest SEO techniques and should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.
Developing content for blogs, newsletters, articles, social media and the website.
Write, proofread content for errors and inconsistencies and promote content across social media platforms
Identify platform users’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend/focus on new topics
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone) and update website content regularly
Conducting in-depth research on education-based and socially inclined topics in order to develop original content.
Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the educational website.
Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
Requirements and Skills
Degree or its Diploma equivalent in English, Mass Communication, Journalism or any related field
Proven work experience as an Educational Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Familiarity with web publications
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
A portfolio of published articles.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Effective communication skills.
