Job Title: QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Location: Lagos

Job Brief
We are looking for a reliable quantity surveyor who will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.

Responsibilities
Conduct surveys on land sites and properties.
Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features (e.g. longitudes, latitudes)
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects.

Requirements
3-5 years cognate experience as a Surveyor.
Working knowledge of GPS and GIS.
Tech savvy, including familiarity with CAD software.
Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Sound knowledge of construction.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
BSc/HND in Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics or similar field.
