Media mogul, Mosunmola Abudu, popularly known as @moabudu, is our woman crush for the week!

Her career started in the corporate world as a branch manager for a recruitment consultant firm before she got into the media industry.

In 2013, she launched Ebony Life TV on cable network and it took off with great success. She is the Executive Producer and Host of the first daily talk show showing in over 48 African countries, Moments with Mo. The astounding success of this show has earned her the title of being referred to as Africa’s ‘Oprah Winfrey’.
Mo Abudu also established Ebony Life Films, the film production unit of Ebony Life TV in 2014.
In 2013, Mo Abudu was listed as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Global TV by The Hollywood Reporter. She received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Women Werk in New York in 2014, and in the same year she was honoured with a Honorary Doctorate Degree from Babcock University.
